We Danto Tile founded in 1885, is known as the oldest tile manufacture in Japan. We have been facing the tile production with sincerity since our founding. In addition, nowadays we focus on the following two concepts.

Crust Edge
The bedrock at the edge of the irregular surface of the crust resembles the accumulation of atmosphere, with tiles of varying thickness combined into a single sheet by a mesh mounted net. The back side of Crust Edge is designed for adhesive, also corner tiles are available.
Grigio Border
Grigio Border is inspired by quartzite with varying thickness. Three different shades in grey color enable it matching well with the floor tile Grigio Model. You may also combine the tiles with other border tiles to create a unique space.
Akatsuki
Akatsuki is a glass tile with a unique design featuring recycled fluorescent lamp glass. Due to the nature of using recycled fluorescent lamp glass as raw material, printed glass fragments may be mixed in. Please be aware of this when considering adoption.
Brill
A delicately shining metal border expressed using metallic glaze and transparent glaze, showcasing three shades of black. The back side of Brill is designed for adhesive.
Tephra
An unprecedented design tile that emphasizes the texture of the soil which is reproduce the texture of the stratum by the new production method. The weathered area and color unevenness of the surface create a more natural texture, and the combination of shape and thickness can create a three-dimensional wall surface.
Grigio Model
Grigio Model is a floor tile collection with three series, Grigio Model Luche, Grigio Model Media and Grigio Model Scuro. With the three colors and three sizes, you can mix and match them together and create numberless patterns.
Mokusai Ⅱ
In Japan, where trees grow tall, the essence of aged cedar trees renowned for their longevity merges with the sturdy texture of ceramics. Unlike tiles printed with surface inkjets prevalent in recent years, meticulous design reproduction through embossing brings forth a slender tile with wood grain, fully capitalizing on a sense of luxury.
Tohsen Ⅱ
Awaji Island, where Danto originated, is renowned for its traditional "roof tiles," which have been utilized for generations in Japanese homes and continue to be employed with designs that resonate with Japanese culture. This iteration presents slender tiles, distinguished by natural color variations akin to burnishing irregularities and a pronounced texture.
